ANGERSMASH is a strategic, set-collecting card game of ratcheting tension.

Race to build your Anger and Zen sets in the opening phases.
Begin to lay OBSTACLES in other players' paths, STEAL their prized cards and have fun being as generally annoying as you can - all the while strengthening your own position against attack.
SABOTAGE and COOPERATION can be equally useful when targeting the strongest & weakest players.
There's a fine line between winning and losing. Sometimes it can come down to a single move. So stay alert. Be wary of danger. And most of all, DON'T BE ANGRY!

Be the first to build 4 matching Anger cards and 4 matching Zen cards to win!

But you must prevent others from winning before you!

Use BloodBoilers to steal Anger or Zen cards.
Use Disruptors to sabotage and attack!

Game Setup

Remove all Action Cards (with red backs) from the deck. Shuffle the remaining cards and deal 8 cards to each player.

If you have identical cards in your hand, group them - you're already one step ahead of your opponents!

Mix the red ACTION CARDS (Disruptors and BloodBoilers) back into the deck. For the best playing experience, be sure to shuffle well!

Place the full deck in the centre of the table.

To start, one player draws the top card from the deck. Display this card face-up in the centre of the table.

If it matches one of your Anger/Zen cards, take it & start building your sets. If not, you must leave it in the centre of the table.
If it is a BloodBoiler (with a red back), take it and keep it for when you decide to attack an opponent.
If it is a Disruptor (also with a red back), take it, but make sure to keep it hidden from the other players.

DISRUPTORS ARE THE ONLY CARDS THAT ARE KEPT HIDDEN THROUGHOUT THE GAME.

In each round a player can perform one of three actions:

Draw a New Card.

Take a Card from the centre of the table that matches one of Yours.

Play a Bloodboiler or a Disruptor.

Tension rises quickly. Should you focus on building your own set or on attacking others? Should you form a temporary alliance with another player to obstruct someone dangerously close to winning? Could you use a well-placed Disruptor card for a surprise win?

AngerSmash base game contains 118 cards colourful cards: 48 Anger cards, 48 Zen cards, 12 BloodBoilers & 10 Disruptors.
