Heritage Farms is a strategy game by Galen McCown with art by Jonathan Carnehl.

Players take on the roles of Chicken, Fox, and Corn farmers needing to get their goods across the river to market. If you leave your good unattended, nature will take its course. Get enough goods across the river before your opponent and before you loose too many!

This is a simple, but very thinky, strategy game with a unique solo mode.

Gameplay Overview

On your turn, move your Boat to any open card and place your Farmer and up to one Good on the Boat and move them to any other open card.

Drop off the Good and flip the Market Bonus up before placing your Farmer there.



When your Farmer leaves a card with a Market Bonus, you gain it. These can be used once per turn.

If there are ever NO Farmers on a card, Nature’s Law is activated! Chickens will eat all Corn on the card and then Foxes will eat all Chickens there.

Win by getting enough Goods across the River. Lose by losing too many!

Advanced Mode adds Zombie Chickens and/or Poison Corn.

Zombie Chickens infect all other Chickens on any card they go to. Zombie Chickens will eat Foxes whenever Nature’s Law is activated!
