A Grey Mist agent has gone missing.

His final message spoke of abandoned shrines, strange cults, and evidence linking the eastern wetlands to a growing conspiracy spreading across Portal Lake. Now the party must follow his trail into a vast marshland where ancient turtles dispense wisdom, waterfowl militias guard hidden settlements, and danger lurks beneath the reeds.

And the only way forward...

...is by duck.

The Soul of the Wetlands

The eastern marshes are unlike any region previously explored in the campaign.

Travel between settlements takes place atop giant ducks. Waterfowl militias patrol the waterways. Ancient turtles offer wisdom and warnings. Hidden cults gather in forgotten places while predators stalk the reeds and open water.

At the center of the growing crisis stands Nasuriel, a blue heron priest whose ambition threatens to corrupt the Golden Egg, a sacred relic of the Great Duck and one of the most powerful artifacts in Portal Lake.

If he succeeds, the consequences may reach far beyond the wetlands.

Explore the Rookery

The party's investigation eventually leads to the Rookery, a sprawling sanctuary of ducks, geese, turtles, frogs, and other wetland folk.

Part settlement, part pilgrimage site, and part frontier outpost, the Rookery serves as a hub for diplomacy, exploration, intrigue, and adventure as the players unravel the mystery surrounding the missing agent and the growing cult activity in the region.

A Different Kind of Wilderness Adventure

Some groups may solve the mystery through diplomacy and investigation. Others may recruit allies, navigate local politics, or launch a direct assault on Nasuriel's stronghold.

Whether negotiating with waterfowl militias, tracking cultists through the marsh, uncovering forgotten relics, or confronting a corrupted priest atop a vine-covered island, no two journeys through the wetlands are likely to unfold the same way.
