New lands have opened up and the race is on to create the best network of rail and road lines through it.
In the multiplayer puzzle game Railroad Ink, your goal is to connect as many exits on your board as possible. Each round, a set of dice are rolled in the middle of the table, determining which kind of road and railway routes are available to all players. You have to draw these routes on your erasable boards to create transport lines and connect your exits, trying to optimize the available symbols better than your opponents.
The more exits you connect, the more points you score at the end of the game, but you lose points for each incomplete route, so plan carefully! Will you press your luck and try to stretch your transportation network to the next exit, or will you play it safe and start a new, simpler to manage route?
In Railroad Ink, players roll the Route dice and must then draw the subsequent results on their individual Route boards. Players score points for having long interconnected Routes, as well as connecting the entry points to their board, plus having Routes through the center of their boards.
But beware, they’ll lose points for leaving unfinished lines.
In the Deep Blue Edition, the Lake and River dice add in some cool, refreshing waterways to the maps.
But in the Blazing Red Edition, Meteors fall from the sky and Volcanoes erupt from underground.
It’s a challenge to keep their roads and rails from getting destroyed, and having to repair them when they are.
Or, players can combine the two for epic, 12-player games!
Cool, Clear Waters
The Deep Blue Edition brings Rivers and Lakes to the board, giving players more ways to create Routes and score points.
Fire, Fire Everywhere
The Blazing Red Edition challenges players with falling Meteors and erupting Volcanoes. Can players keep their Routes together amid all the carnage?
