The Golden Pack brings new pets, food, and... trumpets? Yes, the Golden Pack brings in trumpets as a resource. In addition to fueling new abilities, if you run out of pets in battle, you can bring in a Golden Retriever pet with power equal to your remaining trumpets! Now that's a good dog!

Each game is played over six rounds, beginning with players receiving coins to spend on pet and food cards. After shopping, the players arrange their teams in secret and chooses their placement for battle. The round ends with players revealing their stacks and playing cards one at a time in auto battle style, knocking out pets and resolving abilities to eliminate the opposing team.
